Methodology
Remedial works are planned directly from inspection findings and prioritised by risk. Each action is completed with compatible components, photographed before and after, and closed out against the original defect.
Competence
Repairs are completed by experienced joiners trained in fire door assemblies who know when a repair is appropriate and when replacement is the only compliant option.
Governance & Quality
Repairs remain within the door manufacturer's guidance and certification scope, and any door that cannot be repaired compliantly is reported for replacement rather than patched. ASB Quality is working towards FIRAS third party certification; that accreditation is currently in progress and we do not claim any fire door certification scheme until it has been awarded and evidenced.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can you work from another company's inspection report?
Yes. We can plan remedial works from an existing report, verifying each finding on site before work begins.
How do you prove the work has been done?
Every action is photographed before and after and recorded against the original defect, giving you a clear audit trail.
When is replacement necessary?
When damage, alterations or gaps exceed what can be corrected within the door's tested limits, replacement with a certificated doorset is the compliant route.
