Whistleblowing Policy
Last updated: August 2026
Purpose
ASB Quality is committed to conducting its business honestly and with integrity. This policy encourages anyone who has a genuine concern about wrongdoing connected to our business to raise it, and sets out how we will respond.
Who This Policy Covers
This policy applies to everyone who works with us, including employees, contractors, suppliers and partners. It also welcomes concerns raised by members of the public who deal with our business.
What to Report
You should raise a concern where you genuinely believe there is wrongdoing. This may include:
Examples of Concerns
- Criminal activity or a failure to comply with legal obligations
- Danger to the health and safety of any person
- Bribery, fraud or other financial wrongdoing
- Modern slavery, exploitation or abuse of any person
- Damage to the environment
- Deliberate concealment of any of the above
Protection for Those Who Speak Up
We will not tolerate any form of retaliation against a person who raises a genuine concern. Workers who make a qualifying disclosure in the public interest are protected under the Public Interest Disclosure Act 1998. You will not suffer detriment for raising a concern honestly, even if it later proves to be mistaken.
How to Raise a Concern
Concerns can be raised through the contact form on our contact page, marked for the attention of management. Please provide as much detail as you can, including relevant dates, names and any supporting information, so that your concern can be assessed properly.
Confidentiality
We will treat your concern in confidence and will only share information on a need to know basis. If you wish to raise a concern anonymously we will still consider it, although this may limit our ability to investigate or to provide you with updates.
How We Respond
We take every genuine concern seriously. We will acknowledge it, assess what has been raised, and carry out a proportionate and fair investigation. Where wrongdoing is found, we will take appropriate action.
External Disclosure
We hope that this policy gives you the confidence to raise concerns with us directly. Where appropriate, you also have the right to report certain matters to a relevant regulator or other prescribed body.
