Methodology
Each installation begins with a survey of the opening and a specification matched to the required fire and smoke performance. Doors are installed to the manufacturer's instructions, commissioned for gaps, closing and latching, photographed and recorded.
Competence
Installations are carried out by experienced joiners who are trained in fire door assemblies, compatible components and the importance of installing within tested limits.
Governance & Quality
Every component is selected to remain within the door's certification, and installation evidence is retained so that compliance can be demonstrated to Responsible Persons, insurers and regulators. ASB Quality is working towards FIRAS third party certification; that accreditation is currently in progress and we do not claim any fire door certification scheme until it has been awarded and evidenced.
