Surfacing follows a controlled sequence: sub base preparation, regulation, tack coat, binder course (where required) and wearing course. Compaction, temperature and weather conditions are monitored. Reinstatement matches existing surface levels and materials where feasible.

Experienced surfacing operatives and plant operators with demonstrated competence in machine laid and hand laid surfacing. Supervisors manage material temperature, compaction and joint quality.

We aim to match existing surface type, level and appearance. Colour matching of aged surfaces may vary due to weathering, but material specification will be consistent.
Do you carry out compaction testing?
Yes. Sub base and surfacing compaction is tested and documented to ensure specification compliance.
What is the minimum area you will surface?
We assess each project individually. Small patch repairs are feasible, though mobilisation costs for very small areas may need to be discussed.
